Position: Food Service Director
Location: Oswego, NY
Job Details:
Responsible for developing and executing dining solutions to meet customer needs and tastes.
Oversees and manages all three dining operations on site.
Engage and develop team members to their fullest potential as well as reward and recognize employees for excellence.
Plan and lead daily team briefings.
Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations.
Maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships.
Demonstrate excellent customer service using standard service model.
Ensure the completion and maintenance of P&L statements.
Deliver client and company financial targets.
Adopt all Lessing processes and systems, understand performance metrics, data, order and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve margins.
Create value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management.
Responsible for training and supervision of team members regarding production, quality and control.
Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers and employees.
Comply with all applicable policies, rules and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to safety, health, and wage and hour.
Work collaboratively with the Client to ensure we are meeting expectations and exceeding in our level of service
Manage and maintain a team of 15-20 employees
Focus on culinary excellence and promote menu development and make creative enhancements
Requirements:
3-5 years experience in a Food Service Management role
Culinary experience highly preferred
Strong prioritization skills with the ability the multi-task
Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels
