Description We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team in the financial services industry located in Buffalo, New York. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity where you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable and receivable for several clients. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of tasks such as invoice posting, client communication, and data entry.Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications Maintain detailed records of customer credit information Handle a high volume of client communication through email and phone Perform data entry tasks with precision and efficiency Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary action Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook in daily operations Post between 20-50 invoices per day Manage accounts payable and receivable for 40-50 clients Learn and utilize company-specific software (training will be provided) Account reconciliation tasks as needed.Requirements Demonstrable skills in Account Reconciliation is a plus but not needed Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Proficiency in Billing and Invoice Processing Strong Data Entry skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organization skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientationRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
