Mfg Sciences & Technology Specialist

We are currently looking to fill a Manufacturing Sciences & Technology (MSAT) Specialist within the Process Engineering group. This position will be directly involved in Regeneron’s newest development projects, as well as ensuring our established products can be manufactured across the globe. This specialist will provide subject matter expert (SME) knowledge for investigations, changes, and improvements for drug substance manufacturing processes using a combination of process understanding, data interpretation and analysis. We also provide technical support for internal and external technology transfer initiatives. Our MSAT team is integral in bringing research processes to our commercial organization, maintaining these processes, and ultimately bringing our products to patients in need.As a MSAT Specialist , a typically day might include:

Developing an in-depth understanding of upstream and/or downstream therapeutic protein manufacturing processes.

Summarizing findings in memos, reports, and presentations.

Ensuring operational consistency between manufacturing process areas.

Providing technical SME support for investigations, generate options to resolve technical challenges, and present them for endorsement.

Facilitating access to information/data through the creation of various informative tools and guides.

Driving manufacturing process continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven approaches to identify areas of need and develop solutions.

Generating test plans and/or protocols for investigational activities or process improvements.

Ensuring all tasks are performed in a manner consistent with safety standards and within cGMP guidelines.

Intermittent travel may be required in support of technology transfer or investigational activities.

May involve supervision of lower-level specialists.

To be considered for this Manufacturing Sciences & Technology Specialist you must have the following: BS/BA in a scientific discipline or engineering.

Associate Manufacturing Sciences and Technology Specialist: BS/BA

Manufacturing Sciences and Technology Specialist: BS/BA & 3 years experience, or MS and 2 years experience

Senior Manufacturing Sciences and Technology Specialist: BS/BA & 5 years experience, or MS and 4 years experience
