Job Description

Senior Associate of Finance Operations will manage their assigned client’s financial processes from on-boarding through to PO close outs. The Senior Associate will ensure monthly client billing is aligned to client contract /SOW’s terms. Partnering closely with cross functional teams to achieve timely and accurate monthly client billing, invoice collections, and client fiscal close outs. Establishing strong relationships with internal teams and shared service teams to identify/resolve issues effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications

Main responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teams to manage the monthly billing process
  • Recurring interface with iP Client Services, Products & Services, Reconciliation and Finance teams to foster proactive communication and anticipate challenges
  • Manage monthly Financial Reporting processes in an efficient manner
  • Ensure discrepancies are resolved within client SLA agreements
  • Provide timely, quality coordination between teams for billing and quarterly closeouts
  • Ongoing communication with Finance Operations leadership to escalate issues, obtain guidance, and ensure time allocation is appropriate
  • Partner with sister agencies regularly to stay aligned and ensure effective coordination
  • Help develop and document processes for team functions such as billing and reporting
  • Working with Commercial Finance/Finance Controls on questions relative to monthly accruals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting preferred
  • 2+years of relevant budget/billing management experience, agency experience a plus
  • Knowledge of media planning and buying systems (DDS/Prisma experience a must)
  • Knowledge of best practices regarding media budget management and tracking
  • Strong understanding of finance/accounting/auditing/compliance, and effective control environments
  • Working understanding of media – digital, social, and search preferred
  • Strong excel competency
