DescriptionPay $67,000 - $70,000 annuallyThe Behavioral Health Services (BHS) Finance Manager performs a full range of finance and accounting functions. Will use technical skills in financial management to assist the Vice President of Finance and EVP of Behavioral Health Services with decision-making and analysis for financial strength and performance. Has an active role in the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, analysis, ad-hoc reporting, and analyzes budget variances for program revenues and expenses. Responsible to analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring and reporting.Core Responsibilities
Provide in-depth financial analysis on assigned agency programs.
Provide financial reporting on programs including analyzing revenue and expense trends.
Identify potential variances in budgets and effectively communicate.
Coordinate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to ensure that program needs are met.
Participate in strategic planning process.
Establishes and maintains understanding of program regulations and billing mechanisms.
Promotes revenue optimization.
Participate in the creation and implementation of finance department policies & procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance.
2-5 years of related experience preferred.
Advanced Excel skills required.
Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License
