DescriptionOur Utica, NY client has a newly created Financial Analyst role due to the growth they have been having. This is a rapidly growing organization with a great company culture. It's a great opportunity to leverage your analysis experience!Working closely with the Controller, CFO and other executive leaders, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for:Data analysis and financial analysisProfitability analysisBudgeting and forecastingGL dutiesAd hoc analysis and reportingInternal control dutiesSome tax and compliance dutiesWork with external audit firmRequirements
Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis is an asset
Background - experience in financial analysis
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
Excel Formulas experience
