Description We are offering a role in the transport industry, based in Watertown, New York. The position revolves around the job function of an Accounts Receivable Clerk, with a focus on managing cash positing and assisting with account payable processing. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Manage the Accounts Receivable cash posting on a daily basis Review and release debit memos created by the purchasing department Assist with Accounts Payable processing Handle account reconciliation and billing tasks Manage cash applications and collections Conduct commercial collections as necessary Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks Maintain accurate customer credit records and resolve credit inquiries Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Requirements Proficiency in using financial software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP Demonstrated experience in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR) Strong skills in Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections Familiarity with Commercial Collections processes and best practices Proficient in Microsoft Excel for finance-related tasks Ability to perform tasks under minimal supervision High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial records Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and other departments Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
