Job Duties: Coordinate with employers for placement opportunities. Utilize hands-on techniques to work with employees on work sites. Ensure the person we support is able to complete the job components in a satisfactory manner. Interact with the Administrator of Community Based Employment to ensure individual plans are developed and implemented to address the needs of the people we support. Responsible for oversight of Occupational Trainers providing services to extended OMH Contracts. Participate in meetings regarding people we support as requested by Administrator of Community Based Employment. Adhere to the Career Connections Guidelines for interacting with the employers and employees. Provide Benefits Advisement as requested by the person served. Maintain certification requirements by attending continuing education. Work with person’s employer during placement and training to ensure a smooth transition to the worksites. Attend and satisfactorily complete all required in-services. Adhere to all Agency’s policies and procedures. Will comply with CQL, HIPPA, Corporate Compliance regulations and Code of conduct. Support the goals, objectives and philosophy of the Jefferson Rehabilitation Center. Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s Degree preferred and one year experience working with the developmentally disabled required, or, a High School Diploma and three years’ experience working with the developmentally disable required.
