Description We are seeking a Bilingual Coordinator to support a resident program located in White Plains, NY. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing guidance and assistance to residents while ensuring smooth program operations. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion. This is a contract opportunity with the opportunityKey Responsibilities:

Resident Assistance & Guidance:

Assist residents with program-related inquiries, including credit guidance and directions to locations.

Provide ongoing support to residents to help them adjust to the program and the surrounding area.

Conduct regular check-ins with program participants to assess their well-being and address concerns.

Outreach & Communication:

Maintain communication with residents through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.

Liaise with landlords to ensure smooth communication and resolve any housing-related issues.

Coordinate outreach efforts to gather feedback and monitor resident satisfaction.

Documentation & Tracking:

Administer and collect survey questionnaires from residents to evaluate their experience.

Enter detailed notes into the program’s tracking system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

Track resident progress and note adjustments to ensure they are receiving proper support.

Research & Information Gathering:

Conduct research on schools, housing units, and other local resources to assist residents in their transition.

Provide residents with relevant information to facilitate their adaptation to the area.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bilingual (fluent in English and [Insert language based on need])

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.

Ability to show empathy, compassion, and provide support to residents from diverse backgrounds.

Proficiency in using tracking systems or databases to input and manage resident data.

Experience with conducting outreach and gathering feedback through surveys.

Comfortable with engaging in research on housing, schools, and community resources.

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience in a coordinator or support role within a housing or community services environment.

Familiarity with White Plains, NY, and surrounding areas is a plus.
