Pay is weekly with an average rate of $22/hr - $27/hr.
About this role:This will be a combination position that will be dually trained as a Host and Floor Support. The primary focus for Hosts is setting the stage for an exceptional dining experience with every guest that comes through the door. This includes engaging in friendly conversation when seating guests, managing the wait list during high volume to accurately set guest expectations, and sharing genuine gratitude and thanks as they leave. Our hosts also support the rest of the front of house staff as needs arise, contributing to a smooth flow service. Floor Support assists the serving team, ensuring that service keeps flowing smoothly. This includes running food, bussing and resetting tables, and assisting with sidework. While a vital support position, this is not a background role. Floor support are part of the hospitality experience and interact with guests, contributing to a seamless and mindblasting service experience. Weekly pay includes a $13/hour rate plus a generous tip-share program.
Responsibilities:
Be warm, friendly, and accommodating - providing exceptional service and hospitality for all guests
Deliver food and drinks to tables with warmth and care
Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room during service
Support FOH team members by assisting with running sidework (silverware/glassware polishing, bar backing, spot sweeping) and by providing water to customers, answering questions, and pre-bussing tables
Act as a liaison between customers and management
Always go the extra distance for the comfort and happiness of our customers
Accurately estimate wait times, seeking managerial guidance as needed
Create a welcoming environment by maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and FOH area
Requirements:
Operate in a highly organized and collaborative manner
Provide customers with MIND BLASTING hospitality
Be a reliable and supportive team player
Ability to take direction from peers and managers
Follow all company policies and procedures, e.g., dress code, punctuality, and professional attitude
