Location: Rutherfordton or Buckner, North Carolina

Compensation: $22+ an hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking 2 skilled and passionate Cooks to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring food safety standards are met. You would be working on site cooking from scratch for roughly around 100 workers. If you have a love for cooking and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, following all health and safety guidelines.
Monitor food inventory and communicate with the kitchen manager regarding stock needs.
Assist in menu planning and suggest new dishes when needed.
Follow portion control standards to minimize waste.
Adhere to all food handling and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience as a cook, line cook, or in a similar role preferred.
Knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen safety procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for food quality.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Food Handler’s Certification (if required by local regulations).
