Job Description:
We are seeking a Shift Lead to oversee daily operations at our counter service restaurant. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage a team effectively. As the Shift Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations, delivering excellent service, and maintaining the high standards and consistency our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily counter service operations, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to business standards.
Provide exceptional customer service by being friendly, approachable, and attentive to guests needs.
Handle cash transactions with accuracy.
Prepare food items according to recipe guidelines and maintain food safety standards.
Manage inventory and tracking stock levels.
Take direction from the owner and be able to run the business effectively during your scheduled shifts
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Foster a positive work environment and provide guidance and support to other staff as needed.
Requirements:
ServSafe Certification is preferred.
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency with Point-of-Sale systems.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Experience with cash handling.
Ability to prepare food and adhere to high-quality standards.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Capable of working well with a diverse team and adapting to various personalities.
Ability to pick up lift, carry up to 25 lbs without accommodation
Pay: Starts at $19 per hour plus tips.
