Dry Ridge Moving and Transportation is hiring Drivers/Movers.
We are a busy, 5 star rated, family owned and operated local moving company with an great reputation that we have worked extremely hard to build and maintain. We are looking to add top-notch, EXPERIENCED and RELIABLE, hard working, serious movers, drivers, packers and loaders (especially as we gear up for the very busy moving season that is quickly approaching), to serve our amazing clients.
Starting pay is $18-$24 per hour depending on ability and experience. If you have no experience we are willing to train you if you are hard working and reliable.
You must live local to us in Asheville (within about 30 minutes) AND have a valid drivers license AND have a car to be considered for this position! PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CAR TO GET TO WORK! Unfortunately this is NOT the same thing as being dropped off and picked up.
Regardless if you are looking to be a driver, foreman, crew lead or a mover/helper, you MUST also be trainable, a team player, fit in with our crew, be hard working, dependable, responsible, friendly, present yourself appropriately and be personable to our amazing clients and to our amazing team. Of course you must also be drug and drama free.

How many years of experience do you have? What is/was your role at the company? What did you do SPECIFICALLY related to a mover/driver position? What are some of the skills you have as a mover? What are your strengths?
2) Do you have a current, valid, driver's license?
3) Do you have a reliable car to get to and from work every day?
4) Do you have any prior experience as a driver of 26 ft. moving/straight trucks (no CDL required)? If yes, in what capacity? Was it for a moving company specifically or in a different line of work, like making deliveries for example?
