PrideStaff is currently seeking Machine Operators for 2nd and 3rd Shift a manufacturing company located in Mills River.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sets up and operates fabrication machines, such as brake and punch presses.
- Creates and assembles metal work pieces.
- Follows specifications in job orders, verbal instructions, and blueprints.
- Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
- Measures work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
- Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.
- Knowledge of standard and metric measurements.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
Hours of Work: 2nd - 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm and 3rd - 10:00 pm to 6:30 am (train on 2nd for 4-6 weeks)
