Construction Management Professional Intermediate

Construction Management of large-scale life sciences facilities. Review drawings and keep Master Drawing Set updated. Lead Coordination/Scheduling for Punch Listing and Walkdowns of Systems. Assist Construction team (Work Package Owners, Superintendents) in day-to-day coordination. Take detailed meeting minutes of critical construction meetings. Facilitate completion of turnover documents and interface with Turnover team to ensure contractors fulfill their requirements. Manage and report on status of Engineering RFIs and Submittals. Coordinating mechanical completion dates of system with different teams, trades, and client and driving them to closure. Responsible for creating, managing, coordinating detailed weekly work plan for different trades and monitoring the progress daily to ensure efficient project execution. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes during construction (OSHA regulations). Supporting several work packages in the weekly meeting by, managing challenges in terms of design, construction execution, progress, and taking meeting minutes. Utilize software: EIDA, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks Manage, VplannerPull/Manage, Revizto 5, Prolog, Bluebeam Revu, openspace.ai, MS Excel.#LI-DNIREQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Construction Management or closely related major and 1 year of work experience as a Construction Manager or closely related occupation In Lieu of the requirements listed above, employer will accept: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Construction Management or closely related major and 3 years of work experience as a Construction Manager or closely related occupationSPECIFIC SKILLS: Expertise/ knowledge of: Technical knowledge-Construction Practices, Construction Planning and scheduling, Construction budgeting, Value Engineering, Field Supervision, Construction Contracts and Laws, Construction Safety, Material Management, Critical Path Method (CPM), Sustainable construction, Building Information Modeling (BIM) 3D and 4D, Structural analysis, lean construction, quantity surveying, soil mechanics, design and development of steel and concrete structures. Software and its applications: MS Project, Primavera P6, Revit, On Screen Takeoff, AutoCAD 2D and 3D, Bluebeam, Navisworks Freedom and Manage, MS Excel and other Microsoft office tools, Plan Grid/Autodesk construction cloud, Procore. Industrial and Project Management tools: Change Order Management, Contract negotiation, communication, coordination, Budget management, Risk assessment, Quality control, Risk Mitigation, Task Delegation, Resource Allocation, Safety and OSHA regulations, Job Site Monitoring and change implementation.
