Description We are in search of an Accounting Manager to join our team in the Printing/Publishing industry, located in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will be accountable for the accurate and timely production of financial records and reports, overseeing financial service activities, and driving staff development and empowerment.Responsibilities: Oversee the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices Lead the production of comprehensive financial records to support informative reports Spearhead assigned projects/initiatives to ensure their successful and timely completion Ensure adherence to all company policies Direct financial service activities for the prompt and accurate production and follow-up of customer invoices Set performance expectations for the team, instill empowerment, and drive accountability Manage the team to meet the timelines set in the monthly financial closing schedule. Requirements Proficiency in managing comprehensive accounting functions is a must. Experience with accounts payable (AP) processing and management. Expertise in handling billing functions effectively. Familiarity with the Workday platform, with a focus on its financial management functions. Proficiency in using Workday ERP for seamless financial operations. Solid understanding of maintaining and managing the general ledger. Ability to efficiently oversee and control billing processes.
