responsibilities:

We are seeking a dynamic Business Execution Consultant to join its Correspondent Banking Business Initiatives Team. This candidate will be responsible for strategy, road-mapping, and coordination and implementation of complex and transformational work including liaising with Payments Operations, Technology, Product Management, the Line of Business, Senior Leadership, Production Support, Change and Incident Management and other stakeholders.


The Payments Operations group is responsible for key functions critical to achieving the vision, values & goals of ours. Payments Operations provides foundational banking services for many businesses across the enterprise. Within Payments Operations, the Business Initiatives & Testing (BIT) team offers centralized project testing and support for Payments Operations. Our vision is to be the Enterprise leader in the development of Business Requirements and Agile User Stories, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) through transformative ideology centered on quality, customer satisfaction, and fact-based decision making, to deliver recognizable value by focusing on ongoing process improvement opportunities and resource optimization that meets customer expectations while exceeding competitor capabilities. We strive to ensure the success of production teams in Payments by supporting various activities that include but are not limited to projects & initiatives impacting people, process, or system changes through rigorous planning, execution, governance, testing, and implementation support. Additionally, the BIT team will provide problem resolution guidance, evaluate Robotic Process Automation (RPA) opportunities, and recommend solutions to improve processes and create efficiencies for Payments.


In this role you will:



  • Be responsible for strategy, road-mapping, and coordination and implementation of complex and transformational work including liaising with Payments Operations, Technology, Product Management, the Line of Business, Senior Leadership, Production Support, Change and Incident Management and other stakeholders.
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise to partners inside and outside of Payments Operations, including project leadership teams and various senior-level stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Line of Business, Risk/Compliance, and technology partners across Operations to create and execute initiatives that align with business goals, including driving continuous process improvements that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our operation. The operational responsibilities of this role require skill and experience in working with teams with complex technical functions, performing at expected levels and meeting internal and external service commitments. The candidate must possess good interpersonal, collaboration, partnering and communication skills.
  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause analysis and validation of all compliance and business metrics
  • Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work
  • Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management
  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff
