GENERAL FUNCTION: A leadership role within your particular asset class. Provide primary and secondary market liquidity to assigned market sector to assist in achieving departmental fee income goals.Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitoring all positions/risk within the asset class and helping to develop junior traders as needed.
Develop and maintain working relationships with internal partners such as compliance and risk management and work with managing director, fixed income trading, as needed to meet requests from partners
Trade fixed income securities in support of Institutional and Retail Sales representatives.
Provide revenue-generating ideas to sales representatives.
Process trades on clearing system.
Maintain working relationships with national and regional brokers and dealers.
Balance, reconcile and manage inventory positions maintained within department policy limits.
File appropriate regulatory reports on timely basis.
Provide product training to Institutional and Retail sales executives through formal training sessions and informal daily communication.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
License: Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, 63 registration required
Education: Business or Finance Bachelors degree with MBA preferred
Experience: Five to seven years banking or securities industry experience preferred
