Financial Transformation Manager

Description We are in search of a Financial Transformation Manager to join our team in the transport industry, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will work towards enhancing the efficiency of our financial operations, utilizing your skills in process and data analysis, project and change management, and stakeholder collaboration.Responsibilities: Evaluating existing business operations, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing improvements to enhance performance and reduce costs. Collecting and analyzing data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement. Creating and maintaining detailed process documentation, including process maps, standard operating procedures, and training materials. Leading process improvement projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timely and successful completion. Developing and executing Change Management plans to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies. Collaborating closely with department heads and team members to gather input, gain buy-in, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Creating and presenting detailed reports and presentations on project progress to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations. Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the organization. Utilizing process improvement methodologies to analyze and redesign processes. Visually describing using flowcharts the detailed flow of a process. Assisting people and teams in adopting the transition or transformation of the company’s function’s goals, processes, tools, or technologies. Managing projects from concept to completion, within scope, budget, and timelines. Identifying opportunities for simplification and standardization on internal processes. Generating or recognizing new ideas, alternatives, and possibilities to carry out tasks, solve problems, and address challenges related to automating processes. Requirements Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, specifically within the transport industry Demonstrated proficiency in business process improvement and implementation Proven track record of leading process improvement projects and initiatives Experience with finance transformation strategies and their implementation Proficient in using ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems Prior experience with Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning Cloud is a plus Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required; advanced degree or relevant certifications are preferred Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
