Signature Consultants is seeking a Java Developer for an opportunity with a client in Charlotte, NC. We are looking for Mid-level and Senior Java developers experienced on Full stack development and/or middleware/backend development with the following responsibilities. Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests complex software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Works well under minimal supervision, with general guidance from team leads or senior developers.
Total Years of Experience
Mid-Level: 5+
Senior developer: 10+
Candidate will be a good fit if have combination of required and desired skills mentioned below, if not all.
Required Skills:
Experience with Java 1.8, J2EE
Experience building web applications
Experience building RESTful web services based applications
Experience with server-side frameworks such as Spring MVC
Experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries, especially Angular
Experience working with common RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2
Good interpersonal communication skills for technical and business conversations
Experience working in Agile teams
Desired Skills:
Experience with NoSQL databases like Cassandra
Experience working with Microservices with docker container/Open Shift
Experience working on high volume applications
Experience with SOAP web services
Experience with ORM, especially Hibernate
Experience in performance tuning with good understanding of JVM internals
Experience in modern JVM languages like Groovy, Scala (any JVM language)
Experience in distributed caching frameworks like Hazelcast, Apache Ignite, Redis
