About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a REDIS Enterprise systems engineer to further enable our platform expansion plans. REDIS supports 1,500 databases, more than 800 applications, with several upcoming strategic deliverables.The candidate will work as part of a US-based team to support delivery of our product backlog, and partner closely with application stakeholders across the enterprise to deliver high-value outcomes. The candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, documentation, testing, and training of Redis private cloud platform systems. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for developing features or processes to consume new or upgraded platform software systems and productsIn this role, you will:
Lead complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Lead large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve complex issues to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
5+ years of experience in REDIS engineering
5+ years of experience in Linux, Virtualization technologies and network principles
4+ years of Ansible automation experience
4+ years of Programming language experience in either Java, .NET, Python, Shell scripting
Desired Qualifications:
Experience on Private Cloud technologies including Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Google Kubernetes or Azure HCI
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, and any other enterprise level technologies
Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including TSL/SSL technologies
Proficiency in Github, CI/CD pipelines
Expert understanding of REDIS enterprise architecture in large scale implementations
