DescriptionSenior Plant Accountant - Manufacturing
Responsibilities include: analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
Prepare balance sheets, P/L statements, and complete reconciliations.
Routine walk-throughs of the plant.
Assists in physical inventories and monitors cycle count program.
Interpret & analyze production data (man hours, product/materials, downtime, wastage, etc.) against standard costs and present to plant management team
Accurate bills of materials and routing for AR, AP, and payroll
Completes month end close activities including variance analysis on material and processing costs.
Analyze and investigate root causes of variances within inventory and COGS, including absorption, material usage, and spending

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field and two years of experience in manufacturing accounting
