About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Operational Risk Officer in Operational Risk Management as part of Corporate Risk.As the company's second line of defense, Corporate Risk - or Independent Risk Management - provides independent oversight of risk-taking activities. Independent Risk Management establishes and maintains Wells Fargo's risk management programs and provides oversight, including challenges to and independent assessment of the frontline's execution of its risk management responsibilities.Operational Risk works with teams across Corporate Risk, front-line partners in the businesses and in risk-generating functions, as well as with Wells Fargo Internal Audit. Together, as three lines of defense, we are advancing company-wide consistency in operational risk management practices and simplifying risk management processes - all of which allow us to focus on protecting and serving our customers.In this role, you will:
Be a member of the Strategy & Regulatory Oversight team
Present risks, themes, and insights to management and other stakeholders
Be responsible for the execution of internal controls
Be responsible for governance and oversight of execution processes related to monitoring, review and challenge and oversight
Aggregate and review monitoring results to identify themes or actions
Manage and prepare for leadership and team meetings
Execute and drive policy governance, including routines related to monitoring exceptions and violations
Oversee policy change implementation plans
Engage with Audit, IT&V and other review partners
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Operational Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Experience developing and driving innovative approaches and solutions through an influence model
