Sr. Finance Reporting and Analytics Automation

Wells Fargo's Finance Transformation Office is seeking a PowerBI reporting transformation specialist who will be responsible for partnering with line of business and functional Finance teams to provide advice and support in their work to transform and automate manual reporting processes using a range of Microsoft Power Platform tools, with a strong focus on Power BI, Power Query, Power BI data modeling, DAX, MDX, and Power Automate. They will also support the development and enhancement of Finance's PowerBI / Reporting operating and governance modelIn this role, you will:

Stakeholder Engagement : Work closely with candidate teams to understand their reporting needs, define solution options for their reporting, and identify enhancement opportunities to improve report efficiency and function aligned with business objectives.

Re-platforming Reports to Power BI : Support business teams transforming existing manual reports into automated Power BI solutions for improved efficiency.

Data Transformation and Modeling : Utilize dataflows, datasets, Power BI data modeling tools (e.g. Power Query) to source, transform, and structure data for reporting purposes.

DAX Expertise : Create and optimize DAX calculations, measures, and queries for complex data analysis and reporting requirements.

Dashboard and Report Development : Partner with business teams to advise on development of interactive and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards that convey meaningful insights to stakeholders.

Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of data transformation, data modeling, and report development processes for reference and training.

Training and Support : Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they can effectively interact with reports and dashboards.

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications

Experience with design, implementation, deployment of reporting with PowerBI with strong expertise in dashboard development, data modeling, PowerQuery, and DAX, for creating complex calculations and measures.

Demonstrated experience transforming manual Excel reporting from data sourcing and modelling through to report development using Power BI

Experience with and knowledge of workspace, dataset/dataflow and row level security configuration

Ability to gather end-user requirements regarding reporting needs with little to no guidance

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Experience delivering reporting within a Finance function (Financial Services background preferred)

Demonstrated experience driving results, providing feedback/direction as well as managing and building relationships with other leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment

Experience with NetApps object data storage and semantic modelling with Dremio
