Description We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is in the service industry and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, your work will revolve around conducting financial analysis, preparing financial materials, and maintaining and enhancing our financial systems.Responsibilities: Prepare materials for financial analysis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Utilize your strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, including your familiarity with the FASB Accounting Standards Codification (ASC). Apply your critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate complex financial scenarios and provide effective solutions. Utilize your experience with financial systems and ERP software, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365, to enhance our financial operations. Independently manage tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Assist in the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements. Leverage your strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external auditors. Utilize your auditing experience from a Big 4 accounting firm to ensure financial integrity. Mentor and manage junior staff when required. Maintain customer credit records and process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Requirements Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in the service industry Strong knowledge of business systems and their applications in financial analysis Experience in conducting both internal and external financial audits is necessary Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and create financial models for decision support Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and other financial software Strong communication skills to effectively present financial information to non-financial associates Ability to work independently, manage large, complex projects, and meet deadlines High level of ethical standard to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
