The Role
As our Event Chef, you’ll be at the heart of each catered event, ensuring that every dish is consistent, flawless, and beautifully presented. You’ll not only execute our menus but also play a vital role in training and inspiring our culinary team to deliver excellence.
This role is ideal for someone who is skilled in the kitchen, passionate about teaching, and committed to preserving culinary traditions.
What You’ll Do
Support the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
Prepare and present dishes with precision, honoring our time-tested recipes.
Train, mentor, and inspire kitchen staff with hands-on guidance.
Develop training programs to improve team efficiency and skills.
Manage inventory, ordering, and food costs to reduce waste and maintain profitability.
Ensure strict compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Partner with event planners to guarantee smooth, successful events.
Lead by example, fostering a clean, professional, and positive kitchen culture.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as an Event Chef or similar leadership role in high-volume catering.
Strong culinary skills with a commitment to consistency and detail.
Passion for mentoring and developing culinary talent.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to thrive under pressure.
In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules.
