Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Lead Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for successfully executing our projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. From small jobs like pressure washing and fixing a deck, fence, etc., to major projects such as replacing an entire deck, the Lead Carpenter will oversee and manage every project from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
-Manage and supervise projects from conception to completion.
-Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
-Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
-Perform hands-on maintenance and carpentry work, including but not limited to, wash & staining, decking, fencing, and playset installation.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations, and quality standards.
-Train and mentor junior carpenters and construction crew members.
-Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a minimum of two years of experience.
-Experience painting/staining wood
-Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
-Excellent leadership and communication skills.
-Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
-Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and craftsmanship.
-Valid and insurable driver's license and reliable transportation.
-Excellent work ethic and reliability.
