Job Objective:
We are seeking full-time delivery drivers to join our team. This is a goal-oriented position where your primary responsibility is to deliver parcels in a timely and professional manner. Ideal candidates will have experience with delivery services such as Amazon Flex, Lasership, or similar platforms, but experience is not required. Job Overview:
Work Schedule: Full-time position, up to 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
Route Preparation: Packages will be pre-numbered, ordered, and routed before you leave the warehouse. You will be responsible for sorting and ensuring all items are accounted for before beginning your deliveries.
Location: The warehouse is located at [Choate Cir, Charlotte, NC 28273, United States]. Daily reporting time is between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM to receive your load from the team lead.
Delivery Expectations: You will deliver parcels similar to Amazon or Temu packages directly to customers’ doorsteps or mailrooms. All drivers must use their own vehicles, as we do not provide transportation.
Technology: Routes will be organized and uploaded through our system to ensure efficiency.
Available Routes:
East Charlotte to Harrisburg/University area
West Charlotte to Pineville/Fort Mill area
Waxhaw, Ballantyne, Wesley Chapel, and Mineral Springs
Route assignments will be based on demand and seniority.
Route Details:
Typical daily deliveries range from 50 to 100 packages.
On average, drivers complete 100 deliveries in 6-9 hours.
A route of 100 deliveries usually takes up to half a tank of gas.
Compensation:
$1.60 per parcel delivered on weekdays
$1.70 per parcel delivered on weekends
For example, completing 100 deliveries in a day could earn you between $160 and $170. Routes with up to 130 deliveries per day could result in earnings of $200+ daily.
Pay Period: Monday through Sunday
Payday: Every Friday
The first paycheck is held for the week worked (e.g., for a start date of 12/23/2024 - 12/29/2024, you will be paid for your first week on 1/10/2025).
Sign-On Bonus: $100 bonus paid the Friday following your first week (e.g., for a start date of 12/23/2024 - 12/29/2024, the bonus will be paid on 1/3/2025).
Subsequent paychecks will be issued every Friday thereafter.
Payment Methods: Pay will be made via popular money transfer services such as Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, Apple Pay, or PayPal.
Additional Information:
Undelivered/Returned Parcels: Drivers are not compensated for undelivered or returned parcels.
Route Flexibility: While we generally route drivers with a maximum of 100 deliveries, there may be opportunities for additional deliveries based on demand. You will never be routed beyond 100 parcels without your prior consent.
Closing:
Experience in parcel delivery is preferred, but not required. This position is filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
