Contracted Partnership Overview
This is a contracted partnership, not a traditional job. Mile Crushers is a parcel distribution company that is solely responsible for dispatching loads to drivers and ensuring they are compensated. As an independent contractor, you are responsible for your own fuel, insurance, vehicle maintenance, and tax filings.
Daily Responsibilities of Partnered Drivers
We are currently hiring part-time parcel delivery drivers for the Charlotte area and surrounding regions. You will be expected to work 5 days a week, with shifts ranging from 3 to 5 hours, based on the average daily performance of our current drivers.
The role is simple: delivering parcels from various partners, including Amazon, TikTok, Temu, and other retailers. Partnered drivers can be routed up to 60 stops per day. The number of stops may increase over time based on attendance, performance, and accuracy.
Each day, you will pick up your load between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM at our warehouse, located near Carowinds Blvd and S. Tryon. On some days, your load will be pre-packed and ready for delivery; other days, you may need to pack your load yourself. All deliveries must be completed or redelivered by 5:00 PM.
On average, drivers complete 60 packages within 3-4 hours. If you arrive at the warehouse between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM, you should be able to fuel up and complete your route between 11:00 am & 3:00 PM. This part-time role offers opportunities for full-time work based on performance and attendance.
This is an ideal job for individuals already driving for companies such as Uber, DoorDash, Amazon Flex, LaserShip, or anyone accustomed to using their vehicle to earn income.
What Does 1099 Mean?
This is a 1099 partnership, which means you work for yourself. While this is a contracted position, Mile Crushers does not withhold any taxes from your pay. You can opt-in to receive payments through personal or business information. As your parcel dispatcher, Mile Crushers is responsible only for dispatching parcels to you and ensuring timely payment. Once you receive and confirm your load at the warehouse, you are fully accountable for the parcels until they are either delivered or returned the following day.
Lost packages may incur fines, as outlined in the hiring agreement. Mile Crushers does not cover expenses related to fuel, vehicle insurance, maintenance, or tax filings.
Pay & Compensation Overview
Drivers are compensated per delivered parcel, meaning payment is only made for parcels that are successfully delivered to the customer’s drop-off location. If a parcel cannot be delivered, you will not be paid for that parcel. The pay structure is straightforward, allowing you to know exactly what to expect on paydays.
Pay Period: Mile Crushers pays bi-weekly on Tuesdays. The work week is calculated from Monday to Sunday, and your pay will reflect deliveries made during the preceding two-week period. All stats are tracked daily, and your team lead will provide up-to-date information upon request.
Pay Rate:
$1.60 per delivered parcel on weekdays
$1.70 per delivered parcel on weekends

Total Pay: $886.40 + $470.90 = $1,357.30
This amount will be issued on February 14th, 2025.
How We Pay:
The first payment will be issued via electronic cash transfer services such as Cash App, Zelle, Apple Pay, Chime, PayPal, or Venmo (based on your preference). Please note that transfer fees are not covered.
The first two weeks are considered a probation period. If we see long-term potential in our partnership, you will be asked to provide personal information for payroll and tax purposes. After doing so, payments will be made via direct deposit, and you will have access to your pay stubs for personal or business use.
