We boldly go.Job Summary:The Sales Process Optimization team is looking for a summer intern that would support our Salesforce CRM adoption efforts through data improvement projects. The internship would consist of a 12-week experience that will challenge and develop your technical, business, sales, leadership, and communication skills – providing insight into data and technology support opportunities. The role would report to our Sales Technology Leader within our Strategic Sales team, and would interact with multiple functions within the business, with the ability to work hybrid or remote.Responsibilities:

Understand business priorities and stakeholder requirements in order to determine best solution to meet its needs

Support development and deployment of best-in-class technical solutions to enable simplified self-service capabilities by sales and functional leadership.

Manage development and deployment of solutions through standard work development, training sessions, and on-going support for business teams.

Operate in an agile fashion to deliver regular “demos” to the stakeholder

Develop and present complex, customized presentations of findings to leadership and field offices.

Qualifications:

Minimum sophomore, full-time student status in a 4-year program with computer science, business, engineering, or related field

Must be detail-conscious, responsible, dependable, and able to work well in a team environment.

Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and build relationships with team personnel, Trane commercial offices, business units, and all Trane customers.

Must be PC literate and proficient with Microsoft Applications and Salesforce

Must exhibit a solid professional business image with a team player attitude

Ability to effectively communicate judgment decisions required.

Strong analytic, critical thinking and problem solving skills. Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.

Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that research and analysis objectives are met and that they align with implementation action plans

Ability to wrangle and mine data to provide customer insights

Strong written and verbal communication skills
