Utility Attachment Technician
Technician needed to perform Utility Attachment tasks on an electric distribution/transmission system. Inspections include an accurate of existing attachments by companies such as phone, cable, fiber, etc. Duties include performing a count of all attachments, ability to navigate with maps, ability to utilize a computerized laptop or tablet, work swiftly and keep an extremely high quality level. This position is a temporary position lasting approximately 8 to 10 weeks but could turn into a multi-year position. However, if the right candidate is hired they may be transitioned into this multi-year position. Electric utility experience is desired but not required.
Required Skills
Ability to pick up skills of this job very quickly
Ability to work safely at all times
Ability to walk several miles per day including rough terrain
Use and understanding of a handheld computer
Ability to use hammer, probes and drills safely
Ability to read and understand maps
Ability to work alone for periods of time
Ability to learn and understand distribution pole attributes

Current and valid drivers license
High school diploma or equivalent
Must pass pre-employment drug test
Must pass criminal background check
This is a 40 hour/week position. Benefits include optional health insurance coverage, company issued truck and competitive pay. Benefits will only be offered if candidate continues on with the multi-year project.
