We are seeking an experienced nanny to provide personalized and comprehensive childcare and in-home support for our family starting in December 2024. Our tentative due date is November 30th, 2024; therefore, we intend to bring you on board in mid-December to acclimate yourself to the role.

We are West Indian parents looking to have quality childcare. We are a loving & outgoing family-oriented household with very demanding schedules. Currently, Mom is working full-time and preparing for nursing school, and Dad is an entrepreneur and full-time employee. Our home is smoke and pet-free. We are hiring for a reliable, energetic, loving nanny for our children 6 and 9. We require someone with a flexible schedule who can manage additional responsibilities such as household chores: cooking (meal prepping), laundry & cleaning. Education is super important to us. Therefore, we want someone who values education as an essential element for our children's Montessori learning structure and other curriculums/supplies provided . As parents, we are looking for exceptional professionalism. We expect proper and appropriate communication daily with us on our child’s progress and provide support for our daily functioning. We value your time and emotional investment into our child’s education and well-being therefore, you will be fairly compensated.

Applicants must be able to meet the following criteria:
Our vetting process consists of an in-person interview with parents, verification of your certifications and references, and a paid trial shift (4 hrs = $80 for the shift)
Pass background check
Pass a drug test (consent to a routine drug test during employment)
Has up-to-date Infant and Child CPR and First Aid certification
Sign a contract for part-time employment
Be able to lift a minimum of 50+ lbs.
Flexible schedule to work on call, weekends, and holidays (We prefer someone who can work some weekends and holidays (we will provide dates in advance)
Have nanny experience (provide 3-4 references of families you've worked for)
Bilingual (preferably speaks Spanish or Mandarin)
Have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current insurance. We offer to cover fuel for work-related outings and provide a vehicle for those occasions. Engaging our child in the community via field trips is a part of our learning structure.
NON-smoker
Live in Greensboro, or High Point NC
Must be able to meal prep, clean, and do laundry
Education experience is preferred but not required
Must engage our child with Montessori learning structure and collaborate with us for weekly lesson plans.
Understand that our home and work vehicle have security systems in place (surveillance cameras in the home & driver monitor system with GPS tracking in the work vehicle)
Benefits:
Pay: $20+/hr for 20 hr work week (paid through payroll system or Cash)
Eligibility for annual bonus
We will discuss overtime pay (weekends, on-call rates)
Paid family vacations with us (in the event you travel with us, we'll cover lodging, and transportation costs and pay you for childcare however you will be responsible for your expenses such as food, drinks, shopping, activities, etc.)
2 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO)
