Patient Services Specialist

Patient Services Specialist (I) Position Summary The Patient Services Specialist performs general administrative clerical duties including registering patients for the front desk of the ambulatory clinic setting. This role is responsible for various clerical duties and administrative/business details such as scheduling appointments, managing incoming phone calls, and accurately checking in and checking out patients in accordance with standard work and procedure. Position Qualifications Education

High school diploma or equivalency (GED)

Associate degree in healthcare administration or equivalent college coursework, preferred.

Experience

Previous Medical Office experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide variety of individuals.

Ability to identify and solve problems independently.

Excellent in verbal and communication skills.

Excellent Customer Service skills.
