Position SummaryThe Group Manager, Product Marketing – Urolift is responsible for the development of specific marketing plans and activities for the UroLift System, a minimally-invasive treatment for men diagnosed with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (“BPH”). The Group Manager, Product Marketing – Urolift will be responsible for creating the “go-to-market” UroLift System strategy by collaborating with cross-functional partners and key customers to drive the UroLift system’s adoption and utilization.Principal Responsibilities The Group Manager, Product Marketing – Urolift is responsible for the development of specific marketing plans and activities for the UroLift System to establish, enhance, or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena Responsible for managing the UroLift System Operating Budget (OPEX) with key consultants and partners Monitors competitive activity, identifies customer needs, and establishes pricing strategies Interfaces with Upstream Marketing and sales to collaborate on new product development or enhance existing product(s) or product line(s) Additionally, this role focuses on building and managing strategic relationships with stakeholders, influencing without authority, and driving consensus in complex, multi-stakeholder environments Design strategies to maximize the profitability of product lines by collaborating with assigned staff, recommending market research, and performing financial analyses Determine clear and specific priorities for the development of new products and product enhancements by defining customer needs and working with other internal functional groups Evaluate promotional plans to ensure they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed Evaluate strategies for product launches to ensure products are properly positioned and that brochures, sales sheets, and supporting materials will launch products successfully and stimulate sales Responsible for new product launch strategic planning in collaboration with the upstream team (pricing, sales programs, messaging, and customer segmentation) Develop and broaden strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders Facilitate networking and collaboration among team members Drive societal meeting strategy for their product lines Act as a stakeholder point of contact for large projects, defining roles and responsibilities. Propose the allocation of resources to assist in managing products' life cycle from concept through retirement by assessing needs and objectives Contribute toward the development of an annual departmental budget by forecasting future needs, utilizing previous year's budget, current objectives, and budget guidelines Responsible for revenue projections for the UroLift System during corporate forecasting cycles. Represent the company by visiting accounts to solicit feedback on company products and services Organize physician symposiums by working with assigned staff in commissioning doctors to participate and working with internal departments to promote and schedule events Partner with Global Marketing Product Managers to ensure messaging consistency and collateral sharing across OUS markets Communicate with the field on backorders, key initiative updates, and strategic progress as needed Identify key analytics to measure UroLift success and communicate our strategic planning progress to key internal stakeholders.Education / Experience Requirements A bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in marketing is highly preferred, with 5-10 overall years of marketing/sales and/or product management experience. Minimum 5 years experience in a life sciences (medical device) product management or product marketing roleSpecialized Skills / Other Requirements Proven ability to influence without authority and drive consensus in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Experience in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans. Familiarity with market research methodologies and data analysis. Ability to partner cross-functionally successfully with a desire for our team to WIN!The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between ($125,000 - 135,000) however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, participation in 401(k) savings plan, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, short- and long-term disability and parental leave, dependent on the position offered.
