Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Software Engineer in Morrisville, North Carolina. This role primarily involves working with various product teams to enhance customer experience on existing products. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing software features that bridge the gap between our customers and our Customer Experience Engineering team. This role is within the Security and Trust industry.Responsibilities: Collaboratively work with multiple product teams across the company to enhance the customer experience on existing products. Design and develop software features to bridge the gap between our customers and our Customer Experience Engineering team. Proactively diagnose and prevent issues to improve customer experience. Rapidly learn and adapt to new code bases and processes. Develop software using a variety of programming languages including Python, Go, Java, and C/C. Communicate effectively with team members and external business entities to make your ideas known. Understand and learn new security technologies. Work on different products throughout the company's portfolio. Assist junior engineers and help them grow their skills. Troubleshoot and set up networks.Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Software Engineering Proficiency in Backend Development is essential Demonstrable experience with programming languages: Java, Python, and Go Familiarity with Linux operating systems is required Experience working with Virtual Machines is a must Knowledge of Containerization concepts is necessary Proficiency in using Docker is expected Basic Network Troubleshooting skills are essential Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
