We are looking for a motivated Wastewater Technician Helper. No experience required, will train!
Job Description
As a Helper you will provide assistance to the Wastewater Technician and respond to various locations to service on-site wastewater systems throughout Dare, Hyde, and Currituck County. You will be responsible for assisting with alarm calls, locating, digging up, and inspecting septic systems and grease traps, acting as a helper on service calls, and assisting in the repair of septic components.
Responsibilities
Willingness to learn and understand septic system components, materials, tools and equipment
Ability to communicate well with Supervisor and team members
Manage detailed reports of work done on job sites to ensure successful and adequate repairs performed
All other duties assigned with a positive attitude
Required:
Ability to climb, bend, pull, reach overhead, stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred:
Valid Drivers License
HS diploma or GED equivalent
