A well-established Outer Banks NC company is offering a full-time position as a Wastewater Field Technician. Successful candidates will have NC Subsurface or Grade 1 Wastewater License, a working knowledge of electrical systems, a valid driver’s license with clean driving record, ability to perform light physical activities and lift up to 50 lbs, able to efficiently manage several residential, as well as commercial wastewater systems.
Daily tasks include:
Visiting several on-site wastewater systems daily
Inspect equipment daily
Monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges
Collect water samples
Determine sludge depth
Collect water samples
Record system information
Document field findings
Clean & Maintain Equipment
Tent to emergency system alarm calls
Evaluate necessary repairs to failed systems
Starting wage is based on experience. After 90-day training/assessment period, an increase will be considered, as well as company sponsored clothing, work shoes and selected holiday pay. Relocation assistance may also be considered. Interested candidates should contact Ace Mechanical
