Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are currently on the hunt for a Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role operates within the Real Estate & Property industry and entails the responsibility of ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer credit applications. The successful candidate will also be tasked with maintaining customer credit records and resolving any customer inquiries that may arise.Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications Keep up-to-date and precise customer credit records Promptly address and resolve customer inquiries Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Utilize Accounting Software Systems for various accounting functions Perform tasks related to Account Coding and Accrual Accounting Use ADP - Financial Services for auditing purposes Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions Utilize Concur and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools for effective account management Ensure all Accounts Payable (AP) processes are carried out accurately and timely.Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding, with the ability to accurately categorize financial transactions. Extensive experience with Accounting Software Systems, demonstrating adeptness in managing digital financial data. Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services, indicating a comprehensive understanding of payroll and benefits administration. Proficiency in using Concur for travel and expense management. A strong understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems to manage and integrate the company's financial operations. Solid knowledge and experience in executing various Accounting Functions, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP), showcasing a solid understanding of managing and recording outgoing payments. Knowledge of Accrual Accounting, demonstrating an ability to record transactions when they occur, not when cash is exchanged. Experience in Auditing, indicating a capability to review financial records and ensure their accuracy and legality. Proficiency in Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions, demonstrating an ability to handle electronic money transfer between banks.
