Description We are seeking a Data Analyst to join the team. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Responsibilities include developing analysis and reporting capabilities and conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. The Data Analyst will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. Join a high performing Data Reporting Analyst team supporting a large Sales organization. Provide information and data to the sales team through reporting, dashboards, and data visualization. In this role you will utilize Tableau, Tableau server and desktop for the creation of dashboard data visualizations. Use SQL Queries to produce and update reports etc. All work will be performed in an effort to support the sales team. Major responsibilities
Maintain databases and perform updates as necessary for accuracy
Help various departments, including marketing and sales, reach their goals through analysis
Review data to identify changes in financial and business trends
Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout
Communicate findings of data analysis to managers, written and verbally
Collect and analyze data for various types of business reports
Assemble business reports that provide insight into key data points
Create data recording systems and business analysis for the department to use
Requirements
Must be skilled in critical thinking to help solve business problems and make decisions
Demonstrated ability to prioritize projects to meet deadlines and manage time- Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
Detail oriented with a tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results
Skilled in creating pivot tables, graphs, and charts using data tools
Understanding of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers
experience as a financial or business analyst
Musts have: Tableau or Power Bi (they use Tableau) SQL-basic select statements…not complex.
