Position: Experienced Line Cook to join new restaurant
$16-19 hr DOE
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our new concept culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to recipes and guidelines provided by the head chef. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the quality and presentation of each dish, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work station.
Looking for individual to work am lunch shifts or am/ pm prep shifts
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and guidelines.
- Ensure the quality and presentation of each dish.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies.
- Adhere to all sanitation and food safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced restaurant or similar setting.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
