If you answered yes, then our Line Cook position might be just right for you! We are seeking an experienced line cook for our Durham restaurant.

Did you know that most North Carolina seafood is shipped up the east coast to northern markets? And that nearly 90% of all seafood eaten in the United States is imported seafood, which has far less regulation?
By creating a market for local seafood inside state lines, we can help instill stability and prosperity to our state’s fisherfolk, oyster farmers, shrimpers, fish houses, and processors. Providing access to North Carolina seafood for North Carolina consumers allows residents to directly benefit from their taxpayer-managed fisheries. This increases demand for North Carolina products across the seafood market, incentivizing coastal professionals to sell more products within their home state.
How you'd help:
Your key responsibilities as a Line Cook include setting up and breaking down your station, cooking delicious seafood dishes, collaborating on new special features, and more.
Our restaurant team is a tight-knit group who strive to offer the best food and service to our guests. Our open kitchen concept allows each team member exposure to other stations including oyster shucking, checkout, fish cutting, and prep.
You'll get your hands on a huge range of fish species and learn how to cut each one. You'll get to cook and taste different fish and shellfish from around the state.
You'll develop a wealth of knowledge about seafood from our state by working alongside our amazing team of seafood experts. Sure, it gets messy, and there are some low-tide smells, but we wouldn’t have it any other way!
Basic Requirements
- Must have previous line cook experience
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass standard background check
