An Internal Medicine Clinic located in Fuquay Varina, NC is looking for an experienced Receptionist and Medical Assistant who will work at the front desk and back. Duties include but are not limited to schedule appointments, check in/out patients, collect copayments, verify Insurance, scan documents into patients chart, end of day close out and balance batch, maintain clean workplace, answer multi phone lines and maintain lobby area. Seeking candidates that are professional, maintain positive attitude and excel at multi-tasking.
Medical Assistant duties include but are not limited to taking medical histories and entering computerized medical records information, phlebotomy, EKG, allergy testing, calling patients with results, and prepping/cleaning rooms. We need a bright, hard-working and positive team-player . EMR proficiency is necessary. Experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Spanish preferred.
