Immediate opening for a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant.
Wellness practice near McGees crossroads in Benson NC. Duties include animal restraint, anesthesia monitoring, kennel duties, nail trimming, anal gland expression, client education, assiting the veterinarians with laboratory testing, radiographs, dentals, surgeries, patient recovery, checking in appointments, answering phones, and client communication. Blood draw and lab skills a plus. M-F 8-5:30 no evenings or weekends!
Candidate must be a team player and self starter, have own transportation and live within a reasonable driving distance. Candidate with some experience in a veterinary setting preferred but willing to train the right person.
Pay rate $15-25 per hour and commensurate with experience.
