The Service Technician will report to the Facilities Manager and will perform general maintenance and repair around the property to ensure all equipment is in good working order. Responsibilities would include diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing heating units, ventilation and HVAC units; electrical appliances, outlets, light fixtures, plumbing, carpentry, and locks.
The Service Technician will follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule and follow up with each individual request appropriately.
Requirements:
Highschool Diploma/GED
Three+ years in facility maintenance and or mechanical repair
HVAC experience preferred, not required
Valid Drivers License
Organization Skills
Customer service oriented
Ability to read, interpret, and apply written instructions for repair & maintenance on equipment.
Basic computer skills to operate mobile computing or like devices
Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and precautions.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Employee must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and use hands to perform job duties
The associate must be able to lift 50 pounds individually and up to 100 pounds to operate devices on site (dollies, hand trucks, etc.)
While performing some duties of this job, the associate may be working in outdoor conditions (heat, snow, rain, wind, sleet, etc.)
