Position: Research and Development Assistant
Responsibilities:
For this position, your major duties will include but are not limited to:
Analyze fabric samples by testing for physical properties
Review physical property reports
Investigate and resolve verification and validation failures, test deviations, complaints, and other quality performance issues.
Properly record and file test results in MS Teams and filing system
Provide support for the ongoing R&D projects.
Contact the international office via email and phone on quality control-related issues.
Present quality issues/concerns to the team.
Communicate test results with overseas offices
Requirements:
Good analytical skills.
Willingness to learn Textile sciences and testing.
Correct and clear written and verbal skills.
Excellent customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Willingness to take on additional tasks
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to lift and move up to 30lbs
Must be able to read, speak, and write effectively in English
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Other Details:
Work Hours: Part-Time & Flexible
We are open from 8 am-6 pm M-F.
Hours for this position are 25-30 Hours a week depending on your availability.
