Martin Edwards & Associates Inc. (MEA) is a licensed security agency in NC. We are looking to hire Part-time Unarmed Safety and Security Officer, specifically SOC Operations, ready to work in a professional and customer service-based atmosphere at the North Carolina Department of Transportation in Raleigh NC. We have an open position for weekend night shift which consists of Friday and Saturday 2400-0800. We also have open shifts every Saturday 0800-1600 and 1600-2400.
Qualifications/Skills include:
- Proficient computer skills with a strong comfort level interfacing with various software applications
- Minimum High School graduation or equivalent. (Associate’s Degree preferred).
- Knowledge of effective verbal and written communication techniques
- Familiarity with report writing
- Ability to interact with all types of personnel and the public.
- Active listening skills
- Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Must pass our pre-employment screening process and thorough background check

Duties Include:
- Monitor CCTV’s and other recording/monitoring devices as well as dispatching duties as needed
- Provide assistance and direction to visitors
- Write reports, send emails and keep up with day to day operations
