Service Technician (HVAC)

Position: HVAC Service Technician

Location: Raleigh, NC

Pay: $50 to $90k/year

Experience:

- 2 to 5 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician, preferably in a residential and/or commercial setting.

- Experience with compressors, condensers, commercial and apartment complexes.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in HVAC systems is preferred.

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (Must be able to work OT and be on-call as needed)

Greene Resources is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

- Perform in-home residential and commercial HVAC installations, including retrofits, changeouts, and system startups.

- Inspect, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.

- Install line sets, ductwork, low voltage wiring, and accessories, adhering to industry standards.

- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshoot startup issues, and replace defective parts using specialized equipment.

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, creating and managing schedules for field personnel.

- Conduct job site visits to ensure projects are on track, coordinating inspections and material orders.

- Serve as a field mechanic and project manager, reading project plans and running job sites effectively.

- Utilize mechanical knowledge to install mechanical BG systems, focusing solely on installations.

- Maintain records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities, ensuring proper documentation.

- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns, and offering recommendations and solutions.

Position Requirements:

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

- Proficient with manual and power tools, including HVAC diagnostic equipment.

- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and experience in installation, repair, and maintenance.

- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

- Ability to work on multiple job sites simultaneously and coordinate with superintendents and contractors.

- Reliable, self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and physical ability to perform demanding tasks.

- HVAC technician license or certification preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.
