Finance Business Partnering with Trade Strategic Accounts including responsibility for Retail programs such as Joint Business Funds (JBF), Space Merchandising Contracts, Profit Enhancement Plans (PEP) and Beyond Stock Allowance (BSA)

Provide meaningful analytics and insights to drive effective resource allocation and return on investment for key initiatives within the Retail programs areas of responsibility

Ownership of arguments, KPIs, scenario modelling and benchmarking standard methodologies for Retail programs within the areas of responsibility

Responsible for monthly financial close procedures for Trade Retail programs ensuring all close activities are delivered timely and accurately

Responsible for monthly forecasting for Trade Retail programs collaborating cross-functionally to ensure all updates are reflected, variances explained to guarantee no surprises and risks / opportunities flagged earlyOwnership of Trade Retail Payments process from a Finance perspective with a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end business process including associated trade programs for retail customers

Provide support to all business functions in coordinating day-to-day activities related to tracking, monitoring, and completing Trade Program Payments and associated financial and process controls

Responsible for oversight and management of relationships with GBS team and third-party service providers related to payment programs and associated activities around SOX controls management, performance, documentation, and design.

Ownership of Retail programs from a Finance perspective providing full transparency of P&L sensitivities, effective controls environment and maintaining an accurate Balance Sheet positionProvide solutions that support in achieving operational excellence and continuous improvement for the responsible processes/systems

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Minimum 4 years of experience in finance or accounting services

Technical proficiency:

Experience in SAP/BPC systems (preferred)

Experience using Microsoft office tools (Excel, PowerPoint etc)

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build business relationships with Trust

Excellent analytical skills & discernment to build strong arguments that drive business decisions

Commercially focused and is consumer centric

Strong oral & written communication skills, negotiating ability, & problem-solving skills to influence and secure cross-functional support

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a focus in Business Administration, Finance, Information technology, or related field.
