Whether it's a bigor small thing, I knowthat I am a part of making a difference in people's lives and am proud of the work that the Y does inour community."TheMembership Coordinatorassists the Membership Director with daily activities related to YMCA membership, including scheduling, training and supervising staff, ensuring high quality service and assuring that the core values of the YMCA are modeled to all members and guests. Also assists with execution and implementation of high quality youth and family programs, including Child Watch services.MEMBER SERVICES:

Assists Membership Director with scheduling Member Services staff. Fills in as a Member Service Representative as needed.

Assists Membership Director with new employee orientation and on-going training and supervisionof staff.

Helps to maintain positive relationships and effective communication with all members. Works to improve member service, engagement and satisfaction.

FAMILY PROGRAMS:

Develops and implements family program activities, including YMCA Birthday Parties and Junior Chefs, to meet the needs of the membership and community. Creates new program services and revenue opportunities and further engages families at the YMCA.

Coordinates use of facilities for family program activities and events.

CHILD WATCH:

Assures that care is provided for children in accordance with the YMCA Mission and YMCA Child Watch Handbook.

Maintains positive relationships and effective communication with parents.

Schedules and supervises Child Watch staff, including hiring, training and coaching. Serves as a working supervisor, filling in as needed.

Plans Child Watch activities and works with staff to facilitate activities.

Helps to maintain a clean and well-organized Child Watch area by assuring that daily cleaning procedures are completed.

Updates Child Watch procedures as needed. Records and reports Child Watch usage and helps to identify trends. Makes appropriate staffing recommendations based on usage trends.
