VOLT Workforce Solutions is currently seeking applicants for a floor grinder position for a major manufacturer in Fargo!Duties & Responsibilities include:Responsible for grinding and polishing concrete floors to ensure a smooth, glossy surface.Focusing on keeping the floors in a clean and orderly condition by following direction from the Plant Engineer on what areas need attention.Set up and operate industrial surface grinding machines.Filling cracks if needed.Follow a detailed reference guide that indicates what steps need to be done and in which order.Requisitioning supplies or equipment needed.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMust be at least 18 years of ageAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishSeeking someone who is self-motivated and who is able to work on their ownMust have good attention to detail. Paying attention to the job at hand is necessaryAbility to work effectively and efficiently in a team environmentMust be able to work overtime as requiredPhysical Ability:Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of timeManual labor experience is a plusMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen as well as adhere to random screeningMust be able to pass a pre-employment physical demand testShift Hours & DaysWill train on weekends 6 am to 6 pm and then move into day shift 6 am to 2:30 pm.
